With that being said, when I used the Tide Plus Febreeze when I washed my king sized bedroom sheets 3 days ago, there weren't any stains for the detergent to remove, however, the detergent made my sheets feel and smell incrediby fresh! The detergent has the freshness of Febreeze and the scent was Botanical Rain which smells amazing. So when I chose launty detergent, I honestly just usually chose my detergent based on two things the smell and the price since I don't need anything that is particularly tough on stains. I am a single woman that lives by herself so my laundry isn't terribly dirty the way my sister's household laundry does (she has 3 kids and a husband that plays in a town softball league). The new version announces to everyone who gets close to me that I perfumed up my clothes with heavy detergents. Please find a way to bring back the old product! If people want strong smelling laundry, they should be advised on the label that is it stronger.
I have a family of 5 plus a dog, so we do a LOT of laundry. It reminded me of how wonderful the old scent was, and how disappointed I am about the change. I still had half a bottle left of the old scent that I have been saving, and on a whim I decided to use some on my laundry detergent recently. The old Tide with Downy had a very nice scent, and the new version isn't a stronger version of it. I have been trying the separate april fresh scent beads, but they are also too strong, and simply not the same scent. Because it changed, I started using a competitor's unscented brand.
Before the change, i had found the perfect laundry detergent-with just a touch of scent. I was floored (like, literally almost fell over from the scent) when the new formula was introduced.
